Bob The Builder
In June, the Port Discovery Children’s Museum has the opportunity to host Bob the Builder – Project: Build It, a traveling exhibition based on the popular animated television series, Bob the Builder. Port
Discovery sought financial support from the local building trade organizations to help bring this exhibit to Baltimore and provide young children with the opportunity to explore the world of construction and repair.
The Power Partnership saw this as an opportunity to inform the public about the work we do and also give back to the community and future electricians. If you’re looking for something to do with the kids this summer, take them to Port Discovery and look for your Power Partnership banners.
OriolesREACH Gameday Experience
If you’ve been to an Orioles game this year, you’ve probably already heard: the Power Partnership has joined with the OriolesREACH program to sponsor the “Gameday Experience”.
Each season, the Orioles and Orioles-REACH invite more than 10,000 children from disadvantaged areas in the region to experience the magic of Orioles Baseball. By partnering with the Power Partnership of Baltimore, OriolesREACH is able to provide children with free game tickets, concessions vouchers, Orioles t-shirts, caps and transportation to and from the game.
So when you see the kids in the stands with the Orioles shirts bearing the Power Partnership logo, you can turn to the guy beside you and say, “I help make that happen”.
